Project lifecycle
Understand draft work, active projects, previews, publications and deletion.
Typical lifecycle
Create
A project begins from a prompt, System DNA or Ready Template.
Build and review
Files, messages, assets and versions develop inside Builder.
Preview
The working runtime renders the current or pending file state for inspection.
Publish or deploy
A release creates a public state, deployment record and optional snapshot.
Maintain
Continue editing, create later releases or restore from recorded history.
Management actions
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rename | Changes the private project name without replacing files or history. |
| Remix | Creates a separate project copy for a new direction. |
| Unpublish | Removes the active platform publication while preserving the project. |
| Delete | Starts protected cleanup of project data and connected resources where available. |
Deletion is permanent
Project deletion can remove files, assets, domains, deployments and provider resources. Export anything you must retain before confirming deletion.
