Create and manage API keys
Generate, store, rotate and revoke keys from the Dashboard.
Create a key
Open Aetherion API
Sign in and open Account Center → Aetherion API.
Confirm paid access
The workspace verifies the account and active paid subscription.
Name the key
Use a name that identifies the consuming service or environment.
Copy the secret once
The complete aeth_live_… key is shown only after creation.
Aetherion stores only a SHA-256 hash plus a display prefix and suffix. The original key cannot be recovered later. Up to five active keys can exist for one account.
Rotate or revoke
Create a replacement key
Add the new key to the external service before removing the old key.
Verify a request
Call /api/v1/me with the replacement key.
Revoke the old key
Revocation takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Compromised key
If a key may have been exposed, revoke it immediately. Do not wait for normal rotation.
